Zeem Pty Ltd ("Zeem", "we", "us") is committed to handling personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and how it's protected.
What we collect
- Contact details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number and organisation, when you submit an enquiry or the Security Assessment quick-check.
- The content of any message or quick-check answers you submit.
- Basic visit data for every page load, including IP address, browser/user-agent string, the page visited and the referring page.
- A temporary, anonymous session identifier stored in a first-party cookie for up to 30 minutes, used only to tell how many pages were viewed in one visit. It isn't linked to your identity, isn't used for advertising, and isn't shared with any third party (we don't use Google Analytics or similar tools - this analytics is self-hosted).
Why we collect it
- To respond to enquiries and Security Assessment requests.
- To understand engagement with the site and improve it over time, using our own in-house analytics rather than a third-party service.
- To maintain a record of prospective and existing client relationships (a lightweight internal CRM).
How it's stored and protected
Data submitted through this site is stored in a database operated by Zeem, accessible only to authorised Zeem staff via an authenticated internal system. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Any follow-up based on information you provide (for example, sending more detailed information after a Security Assessment) is a manual step carried out directly by a Zeem team member, not an automated process. Basic page visit records are kept only for a limited period and purged automatically on a schedule we control internally.
